Large quartz stone blocks are initially crushed using a jaw crusher for primary size reduction.

The crushed material is transferred by belt conveyor to a cone crusher or impact crusher for further crushing.

After fine crushing, the material is screened by a vibrating screen to separate two size fractions. Material meeting the feed size requirements of the sand making machine is conveyed to the sand making machine for sand production. The produced sand may be washed by a sand washing machine, if required, to obtain finished quartz sand.

Material that does not meet product specifications is returned to the crushing system for further processing until finished material requirements are achieved.
